my journey
a path rooted in deep listening

My journey into Chinese medicine began with a desire to understand health in a deeper way—not simply as the absence of symptoms, but as an ongoing relationship between the body, mind, emotions, and the world around us in which we live. I believe the body has an incredible capacity to heal when we create the space, support, and attention it needs to return to balance.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Flagler College before completing my graduate education in Classical Chinese Medicine at the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in Sugar Grove, North Carolina in 2016. Jung Tao’s classical approach to Chinese medicine shaped the foundation of how I practice today, teaching me to look beyond individual symptoms and understand each person as a unique expression of their own patterns, constitution, and life experience.
Sacred Synergy grew from my belief that healthcare can feel both deeply personal and deeply practical. You deserve to be listened to, understood, and treated as a whole person—not reduced to a diagnosis or a collection of symptoms.
My approach is grounded in classical Chinese medicine, while remaining open to the many ways modern life, stress, environment, and our individual experiences influence how we feel. Every treatment is an opportunity to pause, reconnect, and support the body's innate movement toward balance. One treatment at a time. One person at a time.
My goal is not simply to address what is bothering you today. It is to understand the bigger picture—where you are physically, emotionally, energetically, and within the season of life you're currently experiencing. Sometimes that means acupuncture. Sometimes it means incorporating facial rejuvenation, LED light therapy, or other supportive treatments. And sometimes the most important part of a treatment is simply creating a quiet space where your body can slow down enough to listen to itself.
I believe healing doesn't have to be complicated. It can begin with paying attention.

outside the treatment room

I feel fortunate to call the mountains of Western North Carolina home. Life outside of the treatment room is often spent outdoors, exploring, gardening, working on our little homestead, and enjoying time with my family and our animals.
That connection to nature is an important part of how I understand health. Just as the seasons change, our bodies and lives move through seasons of their own. Learning to recognize those changes—and work with them rather than against them—is something I carry into my practice every day.
I’m grateful to be able to serve this community and to continue learning from the medicine, from my patients, and from the natural world around me.
