Sacred Synergy Acupunture and Healing Arts

About the Team

Hi and welcome! We are a husband and wife duo who have lived in Western North Carolina for over a decade now! We have traveled throughout most of the United States but always found ourselves being called back to these beautiful Appalachian Mountains.  We are the proud parents of one wild and adventure hungry boy, 2 trouble-making pups, 8 hens, one barn cat, and a mini homestead that we are always working on and improving. We spend as much free time as possible outdoors and we are proud to call Hendersonville our home and to serve this beautiful community

Danielle started Sacred Synergy back in 2018 and is so grateful for the support and loyalty of all the people who have been on this journey with her! She is passionate about helping people overcome their health setbacks, and about restoring the body's natural ability to heal. She graduated from Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine back in 2016, and she has continued her studies focusing on Classical Training with Dr. Jeffrey Yuen and Ann Cecil-Sterman, along with specific studies in Ancient Stone Medicine and Cosmetic Acupuncture. She is particularly passionate about treating headaches and migraines, chronic and acute pain, and anxiety disorders. Danielle has also studied foraging and medicine making with the Chestnut Herbal School and loves incorporating plants and medicine that can be found within our region into people's daily lives. She is so proud and excited to see Sacred Synergy grow and to introduce her husband into the practice as the resident massage therapist!

Zach joined Sacred Synergy in 2024 after graduating from the Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC. He is an avid mountain biker and sports enthusiast, and this drives his passion to help people conquer health setbacks and injuries. While he prefers utilizing a more clinical approach (as opposed to spa/Swedish treatments), several decades in the service industry have left him well adapted to working closely with individuals in order to meet their specific needs and goals and his training provided him with a wide array of modalities to approach individual's needs. He is particularly adept at treating chronic neck pain and sciatica and continues his studies on a regular basis with Dr. Jared Cooper, a well-known and prominent Physical Therapist and educator in the Asheville area.

Danielle is nationally certified (through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and state licensed in NC (#946). She attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL for her Bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies and then Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine for a Master's Diploma in Classical Chinese Medicine. Jung Tao is one of the only schools in the country to truly offer a Classical education based on the principles of Taoism and the Classical texts of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Jung Tao emphasizes the importance of self cultivation in a practitioner while staying true to Taoist roots.
