About the Owner
Hi and welcome! My name is Danielle Corzetto and I am a Licensed Acupuncturist and the owner and primary practitioner at Sacred Synergy Acupuncture & Healing Arts. I created Sacred Synergy because I am passionate about helping people overcome their health setbacks, and about restoring the body's natural ability to heal. The root of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is an understanding of nature, of how the world works and how we function within it, and of how everything fits together and functions perfectly in order to allow and maintain an optimal state of health, just as the natural world does. This concept is not exclusive to Chinese Medicine; here in the West, we call it homeostasis and finding the way to restore that synergistic effect in the body is the core of acupuncture and the root of health. Acupuncture works by reminding the body how to function properly, via acupuncture points on the body that stimulate certain physiological reactions. Although it is an ancient medicine, acupuncture continues to work, even in our crazy, hectic, ever-changing and toxic societies and lifestyles. Because acupuncture views the body as one system, and because it never separates the vast physiological functions, it is able to treat a wide variety of conditions. Some conditions I am particularly passionate about treating include: headaches and migraines, chronic and acute pain, anxiety disorders, and menstrual disorders. I absolutely love seeing this medicine work, over and over again, often as a "last resort" for people who have suffered for far too long. Give me a call today or schedule an appointment online so you can become as fascinated and grateful for Chinese Medicine as I am!
I am nationally certified (through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and state licensed in NC. I attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL for my undergraduate degree and then Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine for my Master's Diploma in Classical Chinese Medicine. Jung Tao is one of the only schools in the country to truly offer a Classical education based on the principles of Taoism and the Classical texts of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Jung Tao emphasizes the importance of self cultivation in a practitioner while staying true to Taoist roots.
